Valumia

Valumia provides companies with clear visibility into environmental, operational, social, and governance risks in their supply chains.

Valumia

Overview:

Valumia is a supply-chain intelligence platform developed in Europe that helps companies gain clear visibility into environmental, operational, social, and governance risks across their supplier networks. The platform analyses procurement and supplier data that companies already generate to identify potential risk exposure across supply chains. The result is a structured view of suppliers and their publicly signalled commitments and practices, along with geopolitical risks, translated into clear dashboards, supplier classifications, and executive-ready reports. This approach allows organisations to better understand where risks may sit within their supply base and where attention or engagement may be most useful. Valumia’s software provides supplier diagnostics and scorecards that help procurement, sustainability, and leadership teams interpret complex information in a practical way.

Companies can quickly identify suppliers that demonstrate strong commitments, those where signals are limited or unclear, and areas where further engagement may be beneficial. By transforming existing procurement data into structured insight. Valumia enables organisations to move beyond fragmented information and gain a clearer understanding of how supplier practices may affect operational resilience, regulatory exposure, and long-term sustainability objectives.

The platform is designed to require minimal reporting effort, enabling companies to work with the data they already have rather than introducing complex new processes. Alongside the software platform, Valumia also supports companies through targeted advisory services that help translate insights into practical action. This can include guidance for procurement teams, support for internal sustainability initiatives, and structured recommendations that help companies strengthen supplier relationships and reduce operational exposure over time. Continuous monitoring capabilities are currently under development to allow companies to track evolving supplier risks as conditions change.

Valumia has analysed supply chains across more than 30 countries, covering over 3,000 suppliers and more than 600,000 data points across sectors including manufacturing, events, and industrial supply chains, among others. Within the global visitor attractions sector, Valumia has conducted supply-chain analysis projects for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), including reviews of both organisational supplier networks and the exhibitor base of major industry trade shows. Earlier versions of the methodology were also applied in the attractions manufacturing sector to analyse supplier networks for Maurer Rides during the preparation of the company’s first sustainability report.

Valumia can support a range of organisations connected to the attractions ecosystem, including theme parks, waterparks, family entertainment centres, ride manufacturers, suppliers, museums, and event operators, as well as industrial companies serving these markets. Valumia was founded by Verónica Celis Vergara (MIT Innovator Under 35), an innovation and sustainability strategist whose work bridges technology, sustainability, and supply-chain transparency. Her work focuses on helping organisations understand and manage supply-chain risk in an increasingly complex global environment.
