Leading creator of aquatic attractions, Aquatic Development Group (ADG), has launched a brand new, dual entry wave pool at the Jim Allen Aquatic Centre, Shawnee, KS.
Designed to ‘double the capacity and double the fun’, the bow-tie shaped Twin Tides is the only one of its kind in the Midwest.
David Allacher, Aquatic Supervisor at Jim Allen Aquatic Center, was quick to praise the star attraction at the park’s $9.25m Splash Cove facility:
“The Twin Tides wave system from ADG is perfect for the set up that we’re using, with their multi-function, 4-wave option, it just made it more useful and exciting for our guests, ” he said.

Twin Tides’ unique configuration allows for high-occupancy by giving guests access to the pool at both ends. The attraction employs ADG’s WaveTekTM technology to deliver four kinds of high performance waves: gentle, rolling, rocking and diamond.
Also included is a 4ft shallow play area, making it easily accessible to the whole family.
“The guest response to the Twin Tides pool is astronomical, they love this wave pool!” added Allacher. “Any time they walk in, they see the waves rolling – they are ready to get in and rock and roll!”
