New VP will build on Vortex’s growth
Taverna enjoys new challenges and he will inspire his teams to work on collaboration and open communication in order to work smarter and be more productive. He says he was drawn to the spirit of innovation at the company. Vortex International President, Stephen Hamelin, praised the appointment of Taverna in February, saying, āVortex has been experiencing strong growth, which translates into increasing demands on our manufacturing operations. Paoloās extensive knowledge and track record will be significant assets in optimizing operations to ensure we continue to deliver the high level of quality customers expect from Vortex International as we grow.ā
Vortex was recently awarded four International Design Awards for its new line of Water Journey elements. The experiences, Pico, Alto and Hop, are highly tactile ground-level experiences, aimed at children aged two to five.
The company has also announced the launch of a new family attraction concept called RiverQuest. The experience includes interactive and multi-sensory elements alongside the fun of a river ride.
