Yvette Millington

Yvette Millington combines strategic project delivery with creative flair to bring some of the UK’s most innovative attractions to life.

As UK project director for Merlin Magic Making, the internal division responsible for creative development and project delivery at Merlin Entertainments, she oversees the complete process of developing new major rides, lands, and experiences across Merlin’s UK Resort Theme Parks.

Project credits include Wickerman, Nemesis Reborn, Curse at Alton Manor and Toxicator at Alton Towers, Hyperia at Thorpe Park, Ninjago, Mythica, Haunted House, Lego Golf and Minifigure Speedway at Legoland Windsor Resort and the Gruffalo River Ride, World of Jumanji and Croc Drop at Chessington World of Adventures.

Her current portfolio includes delivering innovative new IP-led attractions, such as the Paw Patrol-themed land at Chessington World of Adventures, along with three more exciting IP-led attractions to be announced.

Millington combines creativity, business sense, and emotional intelligence, leading diverse teams through planning, design, procurement, and construction with calmness and inclusivity. She advocates for innovation in delivery—using digital tools and modular methods—while maintaining storytelling and guest experience.

Additionally, she is a vocal advocate for diversity in the construction and themed entertainment sectors, inspiring women and emerging professionals in a traditionally male-dominated field. She leads by example, fostering environments where all voices are heard and creativity thrives.

Millington also recently completed XCalibre – Merlin’s top talent ‘leading enterprise’ development programme for high-performing, high-potential leaders globally.
