PGAV, a global leader in the planning and design of unique destinations, has announced two internal leadership promotions as a part of the firm’s multi-studio strategy.
Taking place at PGAV’s St. Louis, Missouri and Orlando, Florida US studio locations, Justin Stichter and Ashley Edelbrock will be the first to hold the new role of Studio Leader, as part of a strategy to reinforce the studio’s culture following a recent expansion.
Edelbrock and Stichter will concentrate on fostering an environment with an emphasis on creativity and workflow, facilitating employee growth and enhancing PGAV’s reputation within the industry.
“Studio culture has long been a key to our success. Now that we are growing our team and expanding with the Orlando Studio, we want to ensure the same level of creative and cultural excellence across PGAV’s multiple locations”, says PGAV Destinations’ CEO Mike Konzen.
“Ashley and Justin are perfectly suited to lead this aspect of our expansion. I am particularly proud to see them grow into these roles.”
Ashley Edelbrock
The studio leader for Orlando, Edelbrock (top right), has worked at PGAV for 12 years and is a licenced architect, project manager, and attraction designer. She recently moved to Orlando from St. Louis. She participates in the internal review and professional development processes and has been an advocate for mentoring and recruitment.
Edelbrock says: “Throughout PGAV’s 50-plus year history, we have maintained that our people are our greatest asset. As the world has become more global and connected, it is part of our strategic growth to attract more diverse talent and be available to our clients and industries in multiple physical locations.
“However, it is still critical to maintain the knowledge, resources, and unique points of view each of our staff has to offer. Justin and I hope to bridge the gap between the two offices and reinforce that collaborative culture.”
Justin Stichter
The new St. Louis Studio Leader (top left), has worked at PGAV for 18 years as a senior project architect, project manager, and attraction designer. He will stay in St. Louis, where he has contributed to the development of a lively and enjoyable work environment by organising feasts, video game tournaments, and mini golf courses. Throughout his time at PGAV, Stichter has also promoted mentoring and career advancement.
Stichter adds: “We work with the best clients and on the best projects – but the part of my job I get the most genuine joy from is working with our PGAV Destinations Team. PGAV is filled with world-class talent and world-class people.
“As designers, we get to help influence the built environment, curating amazing experiences around the world; as the St Louis Studio Leader, I get to help influence the building of people, curating an amazing professional experience for my teammates.”
Last month, PGAV announced more strategic hires for PGAV Destinations and PGAV Planners as the group continues to grow.
