Technology

The company's patented positioning tech corrects outdoor drift, meaning that their experiences aren't confined to indoor environments. It also adapts to outdoor lighting using Unity Shader Graph, with a Dynamic Material System that automatically adjusts to eliminate any lighting inconsistencies.

What makes AStation's technology so innovative is the use of 'Triangular Composition' to guide sightlines through spatial occlusion and perspective. This ensures users don't feel any discomfort when viewing large objects in AR. The overall experience is dynamic and smooth thanks to their Vertex Animation Texture, which ensures animation computation shifts from CPU to GPU.

AStation locations are capable of holding up to 200 guests, with 120 being able to play simultaneously. This means guests are able to interact with each other on a huge scale.

A small storefront or kiosk is enough to begin operations, with outdoor installations capable of spanning 10,000 sqm and beyond, with upcoming projects reaching 600,000 sqm.
