James Dwyer
James Dwyer is a founding member of the Lumsden team with 18 years’ experience across retail, hospitality and exhibition projects. He graduated in design for exhibition and museums from Lincoln University and completed a foundation in art and design at Central St Martins. As creative director and owner of Lumsden, following a management buyout in 2023, he has designed for cultural and visitor attractions such as MoMA stores, M+ Museum in Hong Kong, The National Gallery, Burrell Collection, Kew Gardens, Netflix House and Warner Bros. Studio Tours – The Making of Harry Potter retail and hospitality spaces in both London and Tokyo. Amongst a number of currently ongoing projects, he is working with the Natural History Museum of Denmark on their new building in the Botanical Garden in Copenhagen, one of the largest museum construction projects in recent Danish history.
