Merlin Entertainments has set an opening date for Chessington World of Adventures' new Paw Patrol land, which will welcome visitors on 3 May.
World of Paw Patrol, a £15 million, 1.4-acre attraction, is the UK's first and only Paw Patrol-themed land.
Before launching its new experience, Chessington has shared more details about the land's themed playscapes – Rubble and Rocky's Play Zone and the Flounder Boat Play.
Chessington has also confirmed the land will include themed F&B and retail offerings.
Starting with the playscapes, Rubble & Rocky's Play Zone is a climbable construction zone featuring a maze of repurposed parts, with guests joining Rubble and Rocky as they explore, solve problems and invent.
The Flounder Boat Play is described as a "high-seas adventure" aboard the Flounder Boat where little explorers can help Captain Turbot.
UK's first Paw Patrol-themed land
As well as playscapes and themed F&B, World of Paw Patrol will include four thrilling rides, each inspired by a member of the pack.
These are Chase's Mountain Mission, Marshall’s Firetruck Rescue, Skye’s Helicopter Heroes, and Zuma’s Hovercraft Adventure – the UK’s first 'Drifter' ride.
New images reveal some of the land's experiences and include four-year-old Hallie Sawyer, who was named World of Paw Patrol's 'pawject manager' after a nationwide search for Paw Patrol's biggest UK-based fan.
"It’s safe to say Hallie was on the case, bringing such enthusiasm and 'paw-sitivity' to her important quality assurance mission," said Nick Bevan, vice president at Chessington.
"It has been great to witness the smiles the World of Paw Patrol has brought to our first visitor, and we can’t wait for families from across the world to experience the magic of Paw Patrol here at Chessington World of Adventures from 3 May."
