Cinchio, a technology platform specialist, has announced the launch of its new retail kiosk, a self-service solution designed specifically for cultural institutions aiming to modernise retail operations, enhance guest flow, and better manage complex inventories.
Designed for busy environments, the kiosk assists operators in managing peak visitor times, eases staff workload during busy seasons, and streamlines the sale of merchandise with large SKU counts.
The retail kiosk connects directly to Yellow Dog’s retail inventory platform, establishing a two-way link that keeps product availability, pricing, and menus up to date in real time.
This guarantees that operators always have accurate inventory data across their retail operations while reducing staff time spent on manual updates.
An integrated solution
“Retail plays an important role in how cultural institutions generate revenue and extend the guest experience,” says Ryan Brandt, VP of operations at Cinchio.
“But managing large inventories and high visitor volumes can create operational challenges. Our retail kiosk helps teams serve guests faster while keeping inventory, sales, and reporting connected behind the scenes.”
Beyond the in-store experience, the retail kiosk integrates with the broader Cinchio enterprise platform.

This enables operators to access consolidated reports across multiple business sectors, including retail, food and beverage, and other guest services.
For venues already using Cinchio’s F&B digital ordering solutions or POS, the kiosk provides an additional connected channel within the same ecosystem. Operators employing third-party systems can also integrate retail data into the platform through Cinchio’s extensive integration network.
By integrating retail transactions into the same reporting environment as other hospitality operations, institutions gain a clearer view of performance across their venues.
The retail kiosk will first be introduced by SSA Group, a best-in-class provider of integrated guest services, with Cinchio acting as the organisation’s preferred technology partner.
Cinchio also recently announced the acquisition of Tatvam Analytics Inc., a leader in voice-of-customer and guest-sentiment analysis.
