CONDUCTR, the UK-based innovation studio, has announced that founders Peter Cliff and Jos van der Steen have been recognised as two of the UK’s most ambitious business leaders in The LDC Top 50 2025, an initiative by prominent growth investor LDC and acknowledged by The Times.
The pair also earned the International Award at this year’s ceremony, recognising the company’s global expansion and impact on the immersive entertainment sector.
Based in Manchester, CONDUCTR has gained an international reputation for creating, innovating, and producing large-scale, technology-driven experiences for global brands. Notable projects include The Curse at Alton Manor for Alton Towers and the world’s first outdoor interactive LED sports court for Norwegian Cruise Line.
Creativity meets engineering
Cliff says: “This recognition reflects the ambition that’s driven us from day one - to invent experiences that audiences love and operators can trust. It’s a proud moment for our team and proof of what creativity and engineering can achieve together.”
Van der Steen adds: “Our strength lies in building everything end-to-end, from concept to installation, all within one studio. It allows us to move fast, stay inventive and deliver to the highest standard. This award is testament to that approach and the people who make it happen.”
This achievement marks a significant milestone in CONDUCTR’s evolution from a UK start-up to an international leader in immersive experience design. The company's work, which includes attractions, cruise lines, and competitive socialising venues, exemplifies how it is continuously redefining the fusion of technology and creativity in live settings.
CONDUCTR was also recently named as one of the UK’s Best Places to Work. The studio scored 98% in the Great Place to Work accreditation, in contrast to the UK-based company average of 54%.
