David Hutchinson is founder and CEO of The Path Entertainment Group and CEO of theatre production company Selladoor Worldwide.
Hutchinson established Selladoor Worldwide in 2009. The company has since produced West End shows and UK and international touring productions, including 9 to 5 The Musical, Jersey Boys, Footloose, and We Will Rock You.
In 2020, Hutchinson founded The Path Entertainment Group, which operates through its Gamepath and Showpath divisions. Gamepath develops location-based and competitive socialising experiences, while Showpath produces live stage entertainment.
The group's projects include Monopoly Lifesized, developed with Hasbro and launched in London in 2021. The experience has since expanded internationally, including to Riyadh. Other projects include The Paddington Bear Experience, created in partnership with The Copyrights Group, and SAW: Escape Experience, developed with Lionsgate.
In 2023, Path announced an expanded licensing partnership with Hasbro to develop Clue Lifesized, an immersive experience based on the murder-mystery board game.
Through Path and Selladoor, Hutchinson works across location-based entertainment, live theatre and international production, developing experiences and productions based on established properties and original material.
