Creative and technical consultancy for themed attractions and immersive experiences

Blue Alchemy Labs is a creative and technical consultancy specialising in the development of immersive environments for theme parks, museums, cultural attractions, location-based entertainment and live experiences. Working internationally from London, Melbourne and Orlando, the company helps connect storytelling and spatial design with the technical systems needed to turn ambitious concepts into practical, operational experiences.
Rather than approaching technology as a standalone element, Blue Alchemy Labs works across creative, architectural and technical disciplines. Its team can become involved from the earliest stages of a project, helping establish whether an idea is feasible, through detailed design and system planning, to delivery, integration and commissioning.

Blue Alchemy Labs supports projects at several points in their development. Early-stage work includes experience definition, feasibility and technical direction, helping project teams understand the implications of creative decisions before budgets, designs and procurement strategies become fixed.
Its creative technical architecture work considers how different parts of an experience will function together, including AV and media systems, lighting, show control, special effects and operational requirements. During design and construction, the company can also provide creative and technical oversight, working between clients, designers, architects, operators and technology partners to maintain the original experience vision as a project moves towards opening.
The company also offers an Experience Reality Check, aimed at projects that need an independent assessment of creative, technical, budgetary and operational considerations before progressing further.

Blue Alchemy Labs' portfolio demonstrates the range of environments in which this approach can be applied. For Room on the Broom at Chessington World of Adventures, the company worked alongside Sarner and Merlin on the technical systems supporting the interactive walkthrough attraction, incorporating AV, lighting and show control into the guest journey.
Museum work includes the redevelopment of The Fram Museum in Oslo, undertaken with Sarner International. The project used large-scale projection and interactive technology to place visitors within the story of polar exploration, including a 240-degree projection environment surrounding the historic Fram ship.
In themed entertainment, Blue Alchemy Labs has contributed to projects including Mission Ferrari, the SFX coaster at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, and Mystic Timbers at Kings Island. Its wider portfolio encompasses projects for Madame Tussauds, brand experiences, exhibitions and live events.

Recent work illustrates the company's ability to combine multiple disciplines within a single environment. At the Storm Pool at Tria Spa, MGM Macau, Blue Alchemy Labs led creative direction for an immersive hydrotherapy experience combining LED media walls, spatial audio, dynamic lighting and synchronised rain effects.
Alongside its consultancy and design work, Blue Alchemy Labs is an ISAAC Expert Program certified partner, supporting Smart Monkeys' ISAAC platform in Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region. This adds consultation, commissioning, training and platform expertise to its broader creative-technical services.
Across these projects, Blue Alchemy Labs focuses on the connections between story, space, technology and operation – helping attraction and experience creators develop environments that are not only engaging for visitors but practical to build, operate and maintain.
