Disneyland Paris has announced the name of the new Up-themed attraction coming to its new Disney Adventure World theme park.
Named Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings, the Up-themed ride will open at Disney Adventure World next year. It will be located opposite the new Tangled-themed ride, called Raiponce Tangled Spin, on Adventure Way.
The attraction is named after the Wilderness Explorers, the scouting club that Russell belongs to in the 2009 film. In the ride's story, guests are invited to join the club and earn the 'aviation' badge.

Construction is well underway on Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings, described as a new take on the flying chair carousel, or swing ride.
The attraction's design blends Art Nouveau and industrial elements, such as wrought iron arches, and features balloon and cloud motifs.
As for the queue experience, this will be organised into four zones representing key moments from the film, showcasing props such as Carl's childhood aviator helmet and goggles, and Ellie's adventure book.

Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings will be the first attraction at a Disney park to be themed to Up, and will be at the heart of a new themed garden inspired by the film.
As well as naming its Up ride, Disneyland Paris has confirmed that the new Disney Princess Cavalcade will debut at Disney Adventure World's Adventure Way from 24 July.

Additionally, the Alice and the 'Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland' show will return to Disney Adventure World in spring 2027.
Disney Adventure World and its new World of Frozen land opened at Disneyland Paris last month as part of a €2 billion expansion of the resort.
“With Disney Adventure World, we’re not only unveiling a reimagined second gate at Disneyland Paris; we’re opening the door to a new era. An era where our guests walk straight into the heart of the stories they love,” said Natacha Rafalski, présidente of Disneyland Paris.
