Dpt. is an international experiential design and production studio dedicated to transforming how brands, arts, and culture resonate across both virtual and physical spaces. For more than 15 years, the studio has been designing and delivering interactive, immersive experiences that sit at the intersection of storytelling, emerging technology, and human-centred design.
Operating globally, Dpt. creates work for immersive platforms and place-based environments alike, spanning museums, cultural institutions, public spaces, branded experiences, and digital channels. Their philosophy is “unapologetically human-centric”: user experience sits at the heart of a process defined by constant exploration, experimentation, and iteration. Technology is never deployed for its own sake. Instead, it is carefully integrated to serve narrative, emotion, and accessibility, ensuring experiences feel intuitive, engaging, and meaningful to diverse audiences.

Dpt.’s work has received international recognition, with projects showcased at leading cultural and technology platforms including the Venice Film Festival, SXSW, and major museums and public spaces worldwide. Dpt. designs and produces interactive and immersive experiences for emerging platforms, combining artistic creation with advanced technological expertise. Its creative services include ideation and concept development, art direction, UX and experience design, interactive storytelling and game design, real-time 2D and 3D animation, and music and sound design. These capabilities enable Dpt. to craft cohesive narrative environments in which visual, auditory, and interactive elements work seamlessly together.

On the technology side, Dpt. offers prototyping, R&D, and research, along with expertise in virtual, augmented, and mixed reality, serious gaming, real-time visual effects, social media filters, and AI and machine learning.
