Dream Garden Amusement Equipment Co., Ltd., a leading manufacturer of playground equipment and toymaker in China, has announced the completion of a 500-square-metre indoor playground project in Craigieburn, Australia.

Designed to meet the rising demand for community-based family entertainment in suburban areas, the project mixes soft play structures, interactive play areas, and a dedicated play café to offer a balanced setting for both children and accompanying adults.

Stefan Zhang, Dream Garden Amusement Equipment, says: "This project reflects our approach to designing indoor playgrounds that are not only visually engaging but also commercially viable.

"In suburban areas like Craigieburn, it is essential to balance investment with customer experience.

"By integrating play structures with a café concept, we help our clients create destinations that encourage longer stays and repeat visits."

Design, cost control, & long-term operational performance

Created for children aged 2 to 12 years, the attraction includes a ball pit, slides, climbing features, and open activity areas that promote physical activity and social interaction.

As the project designer and equipment supplier, Dream Garden provided a full turnkey solution. This included concept design, equipment manufacturing, and installation guidance.

The layout was thoughtfully planned to optimise space efficiency within the 500-square-metre footprint, while ensuring a strong aesthetic appeal and safe circulation paths.

"We were looking for a partner who could guide us through the entire process, from design to final setup," says the project owner.

"Dream Garden helped us optimise the layout and select the right mix of attractions for our space. The result matches our expectations and fits well with our local market."

Situated in a rapidly expanding residential suburb, the project reflects the indoor entertainment industry's move toward smaller, localised venues that focus on accessibility and repeat visits.

By including a café and seating area, adults are encouraged to stay longer, increasing dwell time and generating additional revenue.

This project illustrates how indoor playground operators can meet the needs of suburban markets by aligning investment cost, operational efficiency, and visitor experience.

With this focus on community integration and versatile design, Dream Garden continues to assist clients in creating sustainable indoor entertainment businesses across global markets.

Earlier this month, Dream Garden shared its project to design and deliver a new family entertainment centre (FEC) in Hetauda, Nepal, bringing the multi-attraction indoor leisure concept to the fast-growing South Asian market
