AT EAZA 2024, the zoo community will come together to raise awareness of the loss of biodiversity and to achieve more effective synergies around climate change and species conservation. The event brings together zoo and aquarium professionals from across Europe to connect, network and discuss the movement of climate change.

The 2024 annual conference will be held at Zoo Leipzig. This 145-year-old zoo takes pride in putting animal welfare at the heart of all they do. The zoo shows a commitment to the conservation of a variety of species and has been part of an international programme since 2000.
It has been awarded the best zoo in Germany and its 1.8 million visitors can experience six themed worlds, historical gardens and a range of animal encounters. It also aims to educate visitors about the protection and conservation of natural habitats.
