Falcon’s Creative Group, a global leader in entertainment experience design and a division of Falcon’s Beyond Global, Inc., played a key role in the creation of Aquarabia, Saudi Arabia’s first and largest water theme park, now open to guests at Qiddiya City.

Working closely with Qiddiya Investment Company, Falcon’s was instrumental in guiding the project from initial concept to final creative execution. It led master planning and attraction design, developed the park’s experiential vision and original IP, and acted as the creative guardian for this landmark destination.

Covering over 250,000 square meters with eight themed zones and 22 attractions, Aquarabia establishes a new worldwide benchmark for water entertainment. It blends record-breaking rides, adventure sports, and family-friendly activities within a cohesive, story-driven setting.

A milestone project

“Congratulations to Qiddiya Investment Company and the entire Aquarabia team on the opening,” says Cecil D. Magpuri, CEO of Falcon’s Beyond Global.

“This milestone represents years of bold thinking, collaboration, and creative stewardship. We are incredibly excited to see this one-of-a-kind water theme park come to life and to have played a key role in shaping such an immersive destination.”

The goal was to create a park that reflects Saudi culture and harmonises with the overall Qiddiya City site. The Falcon's team crafted a unique storyline that highlights some of Saudi Arabia's most iconic native wildlife and emphasises the vital role of water.

Falcon's refined the master plan over several phases, drawing on extensive experience in theme park design, master planning, and attraction development. The team utilised knowledge from projects like Motiongate Dubai and IMG Worlds of Adventure, leveraging storytelling skills to craft unique, inspiring, and memorable experiences.

Throughout the process, the firm was responsible for developing and refining the thematic intent, components, and narratives. Falcon's also held key responsibilities, including art direction and creative guardianship, during construction, ensuring the project reflected the design.

Falcon’s comprehensive master plan for the park aligns with Qiddiya Investment Company’s sustainability standards. It emphasises recycling, reduces water demand for specific rides, and incorporates technology that links rides together, allowing water to be transferred between them.

Aquarabia represents a milestone for Falcon’s Creative Group and exemplifies the company's dedication to delivering memorable entertainment experiences globally.

The company also recently announced the appointment of Mitchell Magill as president. In this role, he will lead strategic, creative, and operational efforts, driving growth and innovation in the planning, development, and execution of themed experiences and destination projects worldwide.
