FORREC, a leading entertainment design specialist, is marking the launch of Vila da Galinha Pintadinha, a new 3,000-square-metre themed land at Beto Carrero World in Brazil.
An immersive destination for young children and their families centred on the much-loved Brazilian character Galinha Pintadinha ("Lottie Dottie Chicken"), the land signifies a major new addition to the park's family offering.

Developed in collaboration with brand partner Bromelia Produções, the opening on 26 September coincides with Galinha Pintadinha's 20th anniversary.
Throughout the project, FORREC worked closely with Beto Carrero World and Bromelia Produções, bringing expertise in experience design, planning, and multidisciplinary design.
The FORREC team led programming and master planning for the land, while also contributing to the narrative's creative development across the built environment, rides and attractions.
Playfulness built in
FORREC established the development's physical and experiential framework through concept and schematic designs spanning architecture, interiors, landscape architecture, signage, creative design, and show set design.
This turned the well-known visual language and storytelling of Galinha Pintadinha into a land where visitors of all ages can explore, play, and enjoy.
Peter Marshall, creative director at FORREC, says: "Vila da Galinha Pintadinha is an amazing example of the benefits of having a multidisciplinary design team and a world-class park operator immerse themselves in the creative process from the start of a project.
"Working alongside Beto Carrero World and Bromelia Produções, and with such a talented group of creative and technical partners, we engaged each discipline in the storytelling process, enabling them to use all their design skills in creating a purpose-built environment that is playful, engaging and designed around the needs of young children and their families."
The land includes a range of experiences, including live entertainment at the central barn stage, character encounters, themed environments, recreation areas, a retail location, and food and beverage options.
The Galinheiro das Divas flying round ride, manufactured by Zamperla Group, adds a further layer of interactive entertainment.

Award-winning production company Hasbas led the project's entertainment and show development, with oversight of the shows, show area, and music production from creative directors Sylvia Hase and Steve Bass.
The result is a coherent, immersive space where architecture, landscape, interiors, graphics, rides, visual storytelling, and live entertainment combine to create a destination that meets the needs of Beto Carrero World's youngest visitors.
"It is amazing to see the design of Vila da Galinha Pintadinha come to life so vividly and with such care," says Marshall.
"We’ve all immersed ourselves so deeply in the IP and design process (planning, illustrating and modelling), and walked through it so many times in VR. It is uncommon for a team to participate all the way from concept to construction, and rarer still for the end result to be even better than we imagined.
"Congratulations to the entire team."
The Vila da Galinha Pintadinha development is part of Beto Carrero World's continued expansion and investment in new visitor experiences. A dedicated destination for the park's early-childhood audiences, the land brings together attractions, entertainment, storytelling and themed environments in a unified immersive setting.
Recently, FORREC art director Uri Grinbaum shared insights into how storytelling is evolving from something audiences watch into something they can enter, influence and share.
