Imaginibbles: Where imagination is on the menu!

Bean Sprouts was created to change that. Founded by Kelly “Pea Brain” Parthen and Shannon “Peacasso” Seip, Bean Sprouts’ hip and healthy cafés can be found inside family destinations across the United States. Our PhilosoPEA is simple: spark kids’ appetites for yummy, good-for-you food while giving grown-ups a happier, easier mealtime.

While there are plenty of options for all ages, at the heart of Bean Sprouts is Imaginibbles®, our delightful kids’ menu designed to make food part of the adventure.

Each dish transforms familiar ingredients into something wholesome kids can imagine, discover and devour. Crocamole is an avocado hummus crocodile with carrot-matchstick teeth. Spaceadilla blasts off with red and orange pepper flames, and Do-Re-for-Me hits all the right notes with a sunflower butter and jam piano keyboard.

The playfulness has a purpose. Instead of telling children what they should eat, Imaginibbles makes good-for-you choices so fun that kids want to gobble them up. Parents regularly tell our Bean Teams that they can’t believe their child finished the entire meal, including the vegetables!

And because Bean Sprouts operates in attractions where families come to explore, not wait for lunch, every Imaginibbles meal is made to order and designed to be served in approximately four to six minutes. Faster service gets families back to the experience they came to enjoy and helps our family destination partners extend valuable dwell time.

Designed From a Kid’s Point of View

Imaginibbles isn’t simply a kids’ menu. The entire ordering experience is intentionally designed around children.

Imaginibbles sits front and center on our menu boards rather than being relegated to a corner. Many Bean Sprouts cafés feature a lower Imaginibbles counter with a photo menu at toddler eye level, allowing children to choose their own meal even before they can read. Bean Teamers are trained to come down to a child’s level and speak directly to them rather than over their heads.

Even our language is intentional. Signage avoids words like “healthy” or “nutritional” that can make food feel like a lesson or obligation. We would rather show children that good food is delicious and fun than tell them it is good for them.

That philosophy extends to treats, too. From naturally colored sprinkles to thoughtfully sourced ingredients, they're made so parents can say "yes" more often and spend less of their family outing negotiating over food.

A Safer Table for More Families

For families managing food allergies, eating away from home can turn a fun day out into a stressful one. Imaginibbles was designed with those families in mind.

Bean Sprouts kitchens are nut-free (a rarity in foodservice), and our menus are intentionally built to accommodate a wide range of dietary needs and food allergies. That commitment is particularly meaningful inside museums, science centers and other destinations serving thousands of children, school groups and families with different needs every year.

An Innovation Designed to Grow

Imaginibbles reimagines what a kids’ menu can be, not only as a collection of creative dishes but also as a trademarked, repeatable experience that can thrive in very different family destinations and markets.

Today, Bean Sprouts operates 14 cafés in eight U.S. states. In September 2026, we sprouted at Atlanta’s Fernbank Museum, our first natural history museum. Much of our growth has come through referrals from existing host partners who see firsthand how food can complement, not interrupt, the family experience they have worked so hard to create.

From the exhibit floor to the café counter, children should still be exploring, choosing, smiling and discovering. Imaginibbles turns lunchtime into one more exhibit . . . one kids can eat!
