A 30-year veteran of Location-Based Entertainment, Darcy Troy Pollack is the founder of Swiss Cows, LLC, a creative advisory firm for the experience economy (www.swisscowsllc.com). Before going out on her own, Troy Pollack was vice president, immersive experiences for MGM Resorts, where she led creative, giving her a unique vantage point to witness the astonishing speed of evolution of the “Immersive” world.
Prior to MGMR, Troy Pollack was at Walt Disney Imagineering, where she played a key role in launching a “New Experiences” group focused on projects in emerging spaces. Troy Pollack got her start in the experience economy in the early 90s, when she joined Sony Retail Entertainment to help lead the development of one of the first contemporary “urban entertainment centers”, Metreon. Troy Pollack’s journey also comprised a decade in startups, including co-founding two early retail entertainment concepts (Ridemakerz and Scribble Press).
In her very early years, Troy Pollack worked in investment banking and film. She is a graduate of both Yale College and Harvard Business School. A frequent panelist and speaker on Immersive, Troy Pollack was named one of blooloop’s Top 50 Influencers in Immersive in 2023 and was tapped to judge the awards in 2024 and 2025.
