Jay Kong founded ILLUTHION International Immersive Industry Platform in 2014. Initially, the organisation was conceived as a creative producer. Under Kong’s leadership, it has evolved into the most significant immersive industry platform in China.
ILLUTHION International Immersive Industry Platform has created a bridge between the global immersive industry and the Chinese market. Kong has enabled premier global immersive content to enter China. The platform’s Immersive Experience Investment Center has established collaborations with over 430 brands, including some of the world’s most recognisable names such as NEON Global, NAKED China, Drama2eat, Phi Center, Temple of Light, Cité Mémoire, Thinkwell, Fulldome.Pro, and more.
Kong set up the China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions’ Immersive Entertainment Professional Committee and supported the launch of the Immersive Cultural Tourism Industry Elements Trading Platform, China’s first financial service platform for the immersive industry.
In addition, ILLUTHION International Immersive Industry Platform dedicates extensive resources to talent cultivation, leads on key sector events such as the China Immersive Industry Annual Influential Events and This Immersive Globe Summit, and undertakes in-depth industry research.

Prior to establishing ILLUTHION International Immersive Industry Platform, Kong co-founded CGI studio 37Entertainment where he also held the position of chief producing officer. The studio was later acquired by DreamWorks Animation SKG.
