Philip Shepherd is a board member and adviser to numerous businesses in the hospitality and leisure sector, having formerly been a Partner at PwC in the Transaction Services division where he led the Hotels, Leisure and Attractions practice.
He consults widely across the sector on strategy, financing, operations and transactions and has worked extensively with investors on the commercial and operations due diligence of acquisitions. He is chairman of International Event Management that provide operations solutions to venues, stadia and events, a Non-Executive Director of XP Factory ltd, an AIM listed leisure business that owns the experiential leisure-based Boom Battle Bar chain and Escape Hunt, the UK’s largest escape room operator.
He is a board adviser to 59 Productions, an award-winning design studio and production company and is on the board of Chichester Festival Theatre, the leading UK regional theatre. As well as the UK, Philip has been based in the Middle East and he has also worked in South East Asia.
