Las Vegas’ immersive entertainment district Area15 has teamed up with Superplastic to create the designer toy brand’s first-ever experiential attraction.
Opening in autumn of this year, the immersive experience will bring Superplastic’s animated characters to life in a new space, currently under construction at Area15.
This “new type of experience” will blend Superplastic’s “signature brand of mischief and tomfoolery with art, hype culture and fashion”, Area15 said in a press release.
“We’re thrilled to expand the Superplastic brand and characters to immersive entertainment,” said Superplastic CEO Jennifer van Dijk.

“There is no better partner for us in this space than Area15 – we have a deep interest in growing intellectual property and entertainment that blends the digital and physical worlds. This is something we can powerfully scale over time.”
Winston Fisher, Area15’s CEO, added: “We welcome the addition of Superplastic to our growing collection of top-tier, globally recognized brands who have selected Area15 as the location for their first-ever experiential, brick-and-mortar attractions.
“Soon, our millions of visitors will have the thrill of interacting with Superplastic’s digital character universe in real life and in completely new and engaging ways.”
Superplastic creates vinyl art toys and digital experiences using its original characters. The new Superplastic LBE experience will join Area15’s interactive attractions, art exhibits, and technology-driven offerings.
Superplastic’s first LBE experience
Area15, which welcomes more than 3 million visitors every year, recently announced a new John Wick experience to open this year.
Also coming to Area15 is Universal’s first permanent horror experience outside of its parks. The year-round attraction is called Universal Horror Unleashed.
In an interview with blooloop last year, Fisher said the eerie experience is going to be “incredible and standout”.
Halloween Horror Nights, he added, is “the right concept to be part of the Area15 district”.
