The Volcano Express is a 9 minute immersive experience located in Reykjavík city. The show unveils how volcanism lies at the heart of Iceland ́s creation and survival.

The adventure begins and ends at Harpa, Reykjavik’s cultural landmark, connecting the city’s heartbeat to the forces of nature.

Located within the Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavík, this attraction allows visitors to soar above Iceland's volcanic landscapes and plunge deep into the Earth. The experience combines real eruption footage with visual effects, creating an authentic yet thrilling spectacle. During the ride, guests will feel the heat, wind, movements, and tremors, including specific temperature fluctuations and seismic activity.

The story takes guests on a sweeping journey around the city, from hot springs to historic volcanic landscapes, revealing Iceland’s fiery origins. We reflect on how the earliest settlers recognized the power of volcanic geothermal energy and chose Reykjavik as home.

The narrative blends history, science, and spectacle. Showing how fire beneath the earth powers both the past and present of Iceland.
