Judith Owens is Chief Executive of TBL International Ltd (TBL), the management company of Titanic Belfast, and SS Nomadic. With over 30 years’ experience, Judith is one of the UK’s most accomplished leaders in tourism and events.
Under her leadership, Titanic Belfast has welcomed more than 8 million visitors from 145 countries, won the title of 'World’s Leading Tourist Attraction,' and received the 2024 THEA Award for Outstanding Achievement.
The attraction has contributed £430 million in additional spend to the Northern Ireland economy in its first decade.Judith led the £4.7 million transformation of the Titanic Experience, further establishing its status as a world-class, immersive attraction. A passionate ambassador for tourism, she chairs the Northern Ireland Tourism Alliance, serves on the boards of Visit Belfast and the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions (ALVA), and co-founded the Hospitality and Tourism Skills (HATS) network to help attract and retain talent in the sector.
Previously, Judith was TBL’s Operations Director and spent 14 years managing the Waterfront & Ulster Hall. Judith is a passionate advocate for accessible and sustainable tourism. As well as her dedication and strategic vision, she continues to drive innovation and excellence across the tourism sector.
