Lacy Campbell is a writer, director, and multidisciplinary creator who develops experiences that bridge cultures and viewpoints. Combining artistry, strategy, and empathy, she turns stories into immersive worlds that foster shared joy and understanding.
Most recently, Campbell was the creative director at TAIT (2023–2025), overseeing concept development and storytelling for major themed entertainment projects. She directed creative teams to produce emotionally impactful and technically advanced experiences that integrated narrative, technology, and design.
Before joining TAIT, she worked for over two years at The Bezark Company, initially as an associate creative director and later as a creative director in creative development. During her tenure, she contributed to designing and directing attractions and immersive experiences for top entertainment and cultural clients globally.
Campbell’s diverse background includes live theatre, performance, and design, with expertise in culturally relevant adaptations, new work development, and voiceover and audio storytelling. As a self-producing artist and pragmatic visionary, she excels at transforming ideas into reality by balancing creativity, teamwork, and practical considerations.
Speaking to blooloop in 2022 about her love of live performance, she said:
"I love the immediacy of theatre. A live performer can respond to what's happening at that moment, whether that's an audience member who is laughing hard, the weather that day, or even something that might be happening in the news that is relevant to the story that they're telling. When we're able to see our real-life experience reflected in a performance, it’s powerful and makes for such a wonderful experience.”
She excels in diverse, collaborative settings and has earned a reputation as a “creative arbitrator,” bringing together teams from various disciplines to craft cohesive, emotionally intelligent stories.
One nominator described her as "working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring amazing experiences to the public."
