The Experientialists
Maria S Redin is partner at The Experientialists, an immersive/experiential and location-based entertainment enterprise, and co-head of US strategy and development for Lux Entertainment, a global leader in entertainment and experiential art.
At The Experientialists, Redin leads principal investment and strategic advisory for location-based experiential companies and the real-estate developers who host them.
In this role, she builds the financial infrastructure that lets immersive ventures scale across major US markets. Whilst in her role at Lux Entertainment, she is responsible for translating creative vision into the physical build for the US expansion of the Balloon Museum.
This combination of financial acumen and practical skill is notable. As one person who nominated Redin says: “she is helping solve the immersive field’s hardest problem: turning creative experiences into durable, scalable businesses.
“The field has no shortage of visionary artists, but relatively few people who can make immersive work bankable—and Redin operates precisely at that intersection of capital, operations and craft.”
Her experience also includes serving as COO at Non Plus Ultra, chief operating officer at The Lost Explorer, and chief of staff at Two Bit Circus, as well as roles with msredin & associates,GOODcorps, CREABLE Studio, IDEO, and Mattel.
She is codifying this expertise through the development of The Experientailists' ‘X-Stack’ framework for understanding decision-making, constraints and tradeoffs in experimental organisations.
Redin holds an MBA in strategic management from The Wharton School. Massachusetts Institute of Technology has awarded her masters’ in both computer science and engineering, and media and sciences; and a bachelor's degree in computer science.
