Matthew Solari

Vice President of Creative and Story

BRC Imagination Arts

Matthew Solari is vice president of creative and story at BRC Imagination Arts, a full-service strategy, design and production company. He has been with the company since 2004, progressing through creative development and project development roles before taking on his current position in 2024.

Solari has led planning, storytelling and creative direction for museum projects across the US, including the multi-award-winning SCADStory Atlanta, the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum, the Museum of Flight in Seattle, the National Railroad Hall of Fame, the Museum of the Bible and the Barnum Museum.

His work focuses on creating experiences that connect visitors with the stories and subjects presented, with projects shaped around the people and communities each museum serves. His role spans creative strategy, interpretation, storytelling and experience development.

One person who nominated Solari said: "He builds experiences that start with the audience's heart and work outward, so a visitor leaves a presidential library or a railroad museum inspired and transformed, not just informed."
