Melissa Lockwood is an experienced hospitality, operations, and recreation professional with more than 25 years in the recreation and leisure industry.
Currently, Lockwood serves as general manager at the Baha Bay water park at the Baha Mar resort complex in the Bahamas. In her role, she is responsible for the operation and oversight of development of the 15-acre water park, which opened in July 2021. She also develops and manages relationships with key partners such as park cleaners, as well as landscaping, water quality, food and beverage, retail, and gaming teams.
Before joining Baha Bay, Lockwood held roles at Miral Experiences such as operations director at Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi, and guest services manager at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.
