Christian Lachel has been a leader in the themed entertainment industry for over 23 years, creating immersive experiences and meaningful guest journeys.
Lachel is chief creative officer at BRC Imagination Arts, a full-service strategy, design and production firm, and has been with the company since 1997. During this time, he has worked on projects at some of the world’s most iconic destinations, such as the Heineken Experience, Jameson Distillery Bow St., Ford Rouge Factory Tour, Casa Bacardí and the World of Coca-Cola.
He was also responsible for the company’s strategic and creative development on several well-known museums and cultural institutions, including The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Kennedy Space Center and the Museum of Liverpool, as well as a number of World Expos.
BRC Imagination Arts recently worked with Diago on the Johnnie Walker Experience in Princes Street, Edinburgh. This new whisky experience opened to the public in Summer 2021 and is home to rooftop bars and retail spaces as well as immersive and memorable brand experiences. It can be found inside a 71,500 square foot, eight-floor building that used to be Binns department store, on Scotland’s longest shopping street. As well as the bars, restaurants, and shopping areas, it also has the space to host live events.
During a visit to the attraction, guests can enjoy a signature experience called Journey of Flavour, an immersive adventure into the history of the brand and its product, featuring multi-media and multi-sensory effects.
Another recent project from BRC Imagination Arts is the unique new Las Vegas Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium Tour, where fans from around the world can experience a behind-the-scenes journey through the team’s history and culture. It also worked on The Ravinia Music Box Experience Center in Highland Park, Chicago, which celebrates the music and the legacy of Leonard Bernstein.
