Former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have unveiled plans for a presidential centre to promote civic engagement.
The development will be located on theSouth Side of Chicago where Obama began his political career. The Obama Presidential Center will include "participatory and immersive experiences" to tell the story of the Obamas. The Center's goal will beto inspire visitors, and give them thetools to make things happen in their own communities and beyond."More than a library or museum, it will be a living working centre for citizenship.
