Scruffy Dog M.A.D. Models

Scruffy Dog Creative Group (SDCG), a leading creative design company, has announced the launch of M.A.D Models, its new architectural model-making division. The M.A.D modelling team will be located within the firm’s cutting-edge production facility in Birmingham, UK, where they will work on creating a wide range of detailed and accurate scale models.

The division’s name, which stands for Make A Difference, is a statement of the team’s dedication to doing exceptional work that distinguishes them from competitors in the sector. The team’s depth and breadth will also set them apart from others.

The team of seasoned model builders offers a range of services and can provide customers with sophisticated solutions, thanks to its complete access to the full suite of cutting-edge equipment used by SDCG. The M.A.D modellers operate with a variety of industry-leading equipment, including 7-axis CNC milling machines, laser cutters, 3D printers, and more, in addition to the conventional collection of production tools.

A new bespoke service

Giving a statement on the launch of this new division, Dylan Lardner Burke, SDCG’s managing director, says:

“Model making is something we’ve been doing for some time now as part of our entertainment and experience design services, bringing our Masterplans into a scale 3D ensuring the creativity remains at the forefront for any presentation. But this new division will allow us to offer a specialised, bespoke, and stand-alone model-making service with a ‘difference’ and reach out to a whole new range of clients. It’s something I’m really excited about.”
