Disney has revealed more about the new Indiana Jones and Encanto attractions coming to Animal Kingdom, and announced the return of the yeti to Expedition Everest.
During D23 over the weekend, Disney announced the name of the new Indiana Jones attraction in Tropical Americas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The ride, called Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent, will include groundbreaking audio-animatronic figures.
It will also feature an original storyline that "transports guests into the world of the ancient Maya alongside Indiana Jones", Disney said.
Guests will have to "escape perilous dangers, like monstrous bats, larger-than-life scorpions, fire and flame, and of course, snakes", it added.

As above, Harrison Ford shared that he is the actual model for the new Indiana Jones animatronic, and Disney provided a first-look at the enormous audio-animatronic figure of the Tsukán, a serpentine creature featuring in the ride.
Disney has also revealed the name of the new Encanto attraction coming to Tropical Americas in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The ride will be called Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto, and voice actors reprising their roles include Stephanie Beatriz (Mirabel), Jessica Darrow (Luisa), and Diane Guerrero (Isabella).
Outside of the Tropical Americas plans, D23 included an announcement that the yeti will be brought back to life inside Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
After nearly 20 years, the audio-animatronic will be repaired and able to move again.
In more news from D23, Disney has revealed an opening date for the new Monstropolis land at Disney's Hollywood Studios and unveiled Magic Kingdom's new Villains Land.
