A pilot training and mentorship programme, developed by Disneyland Paris and WEConnect International, was announced for autumn 2024 to support the growth of small and medium-sized businesses founded or led by women.
After an initial training session conducted by Envi School with approximately 40 women entrepreneurs, 20 participants enrolled in a personalised mentorship program with leaders at Disneyland Paris in September 2025.
This initiative demonstrates Disneyland Paris’ dedication to developing a more diverse supplier network.
Since its opening in 1992, the park has partnered with over 4,000 suppliers, 83% of which are local to France. Their skills and expertise contribute daily to bringing the destination's magic to life and to surpassing guest expectations.
Acknowledging that diverse backgrounds and perspectives fuel innovation and success, the resort actively supports the growth of women-owned and women-led businesses.
Sharing experiences
At the start of the mentorship programme, a dedicated event was held at Le Cercle in Val d’Europe, where the 20 entrepreneurs met their mentors. Spanning areas from finance and corporate social responsibility to vice presidents and managers, numerous Cast Members volunteered to share their expertise and experience.
Since September, mentors and mentees have regularly met both in person and remotely to discuss challenges, share experiences, celebrate successes, and explore new growth opportunities through personalised guidance.

These interactions offered tailored advice and valuable insights into the specific challenges each business faces.
To mark the end of the programme, a celebration took place at Village by CA on 4 June, featuring engaging discussions, collaborative workshops, and networking opportunities, enabling participants to reflect on their journey.
It fostered meaningful mentor-mentee interactions and provided a platform to share insights. The event concluded with a recognition segment honouring participants and the Cast Members who supported the program.
The Disneyland Paris Ambassadors also had the chance to meet the Cast Members who were involved in the programme alongside the women entrepreneurs during their mentorship journey.
“Thanks to this experience, I was able to boost my confidence in myself and in my abilities. Being able to share the challenges of entrepreneurship with my mentor helped me feel stronger and more resilient,” said one of the mentees.
This spring, Disneyland Paris announced the name of the new Up-themed attraction coming to its new Disney Adventure World theme park. Named Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings, the Up-themed ride will open at Disney Adventure World next year.
Disney Adventure World and its new World of Frozen land opened at Disneyland Paris in March 2026 as part of a €2 billion expansion of the resort.
