The first-ever Up attraction at a Disney park is taking shape at Disneyland Paris' new Disney Adventure World ahead of its 2027 opening.
The new 'Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings' attraction is located opposite the new Tangled-themed ride, called Raiponce Tangled Spin, on Adventure Way.
It's named after the Wilderness Explorers, the scouting club that Russell belongs to in the 2009 film.
The installation of the ride's structure is now underway, and the teams at Walt Disney Imagineering in Paris have added the central column, which stands at 12 metres tall and weighs 22 tonnes.

"This sort of operation is always tricky, given the large components that need to be installed; especially since this particular project involves numerous highly detailed decorations that we have to handle with care," said Timothée Pons, ride project engineer at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris.
The first themed elements are currently being installed around the ride's central mast, including hand-painted depictions of Up characters Russell and Dug.
Beneath the canopy, hundreds of colourful balloons will be suspended, while the exterior of the canopy will feature 16 decorative panels showcasing a unique graphic design.

Additionally, the ride's roof will feature a golden finial depicting Carl's house being carried away by a cluster of balloons, similar to the silhouette of Pascal on the roof of Raiponce Tangled Spin.
Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings is part of Disneyland Paris' new Disney Adventure World, which also includes the new World of Frozen land.
The new park opened earlier this year as part of a €2 billion expansion of the resort.
