Miral, Abu Dhabi's developer of immersive destinations and experiences, announced in 2022 that the Middle East's first Harry Potter -themed land would be coming to Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.

The themed land will feature iconic locations from the Wizarding World, along with three new rides, retail outlets, and F&B facilities.

Now, The National has reported that it could open in 2029, saying: "In May, Entertainment + Culture Advisors, a consultancy working on the project, said in an advert that the land is expected to open in 2029, but Miral hasn't officially announced the timeframe. It has a lot to look forward to."

The 40,000-square-metre Wizarding World at Warner Bros. World will join six existing zones in the park – Warner Bros. Plaza, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch, Cartoon Junction, Gotham City and Metropolis.
