Legoland Florida and Legoland California are expanding their Halloween events this year with the new Brick or Treat Street experiences.

Designed for families with younger children, Brick or Treat Street is an interactive trick-or-treating neighbourhood.

An immersive walkthrough experience, it features six life-sized Lego Monster homes inspired by Lego Minifigures, as follows:

  • Wacky Witch's Cottage
  • Wolf Guy's Cabin
  • Spider Lady's Castle
  • Mummy's Throne Room
  • Plant Monster's Greenhouse
  • Scarecrow's Barn

"Brick or Treat has always been about creating a Halloween experience families can enjoy together, and this year we’re taking it to a whole new level with the addition of Brick or Treat Street," said Brian Bacica, president of Legoland Florida.

"We’ve turned a classic Halloween tradition into a playful neighborhood with candy, surprises and magical moments families will remember long after the season ends."

In addition to Brick or Treat Street, the Halloween event includes photo opportunities with Lego Monster characters, live entertainment, Lego building activities, and the Great Monster Chase 4D movie.

Highlights at Legoland Florida include the Potion Mischief light trail and the Monster Skytacular drone show.

At Legoland California, the Brick or Treat experience includes the Prehistoric Pumpkin Patch and a 17-foot-tall Lego Halloween tree.

Brick or Treat begins at Legoland California on 19 September and runs on select dates through 1 November. The event starts on 5 September at Legoland Florida, running through 31 October.

In recent years, operators in the attractions business have significantly increased investment in Halloween experiences, which now draw huge crowds and boost seasonal profits.
