Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota has unveiled its new Bubble Planet attraction, described as a whimsical world of bubbles, colour, light and imagination.

Designed for guests of all ages, Bubble Planet is co-produced by Exhibition Hub in partnership with Merlin Entertainments.


The 60 to 90-minute interactive experience features a series of vibrant themed rooms, immersive environments and hands-on experiences.

Highlights include giant bubbles, dazzling lasers, immersive visuals, glowing LED spaces, infinity rooms and VR experiences.

"Mall of America continues to evolve as a destination for immersive entertainment and one-of-a-kind attractions," said Carrie Charleston, vice president and head of leasing at Mall of America.

"Bubble Planet brings a fresh and exciting energy to our growing mix of experiential concepts, transporting guests into a vibrant bubble-filled world through interactive environments, immersive technology, and multi-sensory experiences."

At 5.6 million square feet, Mall of America is the largest shopping and entertainment complex in North America.

Its attractions include the Nickelodeon Universe indoor theme park, Sea Life Minnesota Aquarium, FlyOver America, and the Crayola Experience.

The mall is also home to the Super Neon immersive experience by Merlin and Fever.

Bubble Planet venues are part of Merlin Entertainments' strategy to deliver trend-led immersive attractions that open quickly, attract new demographics, and complement its existing portfolio.

There are Bubble Planet locations in Europe, North America and the Asia-Pacific region.

In more news, Mall of America has teamed up with a Minnesota-based nonprofit to enhance accessibility and sensory inclusion across the property.
