Miral has announced plans to invest more than AED12 billion ($3.3bn) in Yas Island over the next five years to support a line-up of new attractions, including a Disney park and Harry Potter-themed lands.
Per a press release, the new investment will support "a pipeline of new developments alongside expansions and enhancements to existing attractions".
These include the expansion of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi to include the Middle East's first Harry Potter-themed area, as well as the first Disney resort in the Middle East.

The investment, which is separate from the Harry Potter and Disney projects, will grow Yas Island's existing parks and attractions, and introduce new immersive rides and experiences "that respond to evolving visitor expectations".
Additionally, the investment will expand Yas Island's hospitality offering with new hotel rooms and an elevated accommodation portfolio.
Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, chairman of Miral, said: "This investment reflects our commitment to Abu Dhabi's long-term vision and our ambition to continue shaping one of the world’s most dynamic tourism destinations.
"Yas Island has become a global success story, demonstrating how world-class experiences contribute to economic growth, enhance quality of life, and strengthen Abu Dhabi’s appeal to audiences from around the world."

He added: "Over the next five years, this investment will build on that momentum, introducing new experiences and expanding our hospitality and leisure offering to meet our evolving visitor expectations.
"As Abu Dhabi continues to strengthen its position as a global center for tourism and entertainment, we remain focused on creating lasting value for residents, visitors and future generations, while contributing to the emirate’s sustainable growth and diversification ambitions."
Announced last May, Abu Dhabi's Disney resort will be developed, built and operated by Miral.
As for Warner Bros. World's new Harry Potter lands, these have been confirmed as Diagon Alley, Hogwarts and the Forbidden Forest.
