PortAventura World in Spain has set opening dates for two new attractions – a family area with a water coaster and an adventure trail.
Starting with 'Coral Bay, La Leyenda Perdida', the new family area at Caribe Aquatic Park will open to the public on 23 July.
Inspired by an ancient, sunken pirate bay, the 6,000-square-metre Coral Bay is home to Cyclone – Europe's first family-friendly water coaster.
It also features an adventure pool called Bahía Pirata, a slide tower called The Crab, and the Splash Port interactive water zone, as well as the El Bucanero dining venue.

Moving to 'Makamanu Jungle, The Adventure Trek', the new adventure experience in the Polynesia area of PortAventura Park will open on 30 July.
Themed to a volcanic quarry hidden in the jungle, the 135-metre trail offers elevated walkways, bridges, rope tunnels and other high-level structures
The experience includes 18 elevated treehouse-style cabins, 20 rope tunnels, three net ladders and four slides, as well as a four-storey central structure.
"At PortAventura World, we are committed to continuously developing our offerings to provide increasingly memorable experiences," Fernando Aldecoa, general manager of PortAventura World, said earlier this year.
"We listen to our customers, and the new features we’re announcing for 2026 reflect our dedication to continuing to surprise them, creating unique moments for all audiences."
PortAventura World is one of Europe’s largest family holiday and leisure destinations. Since opening in 1995, it has welcomed more than 100 million visitors.
The resort operates six hotels and includes a theme park, Europe's only Ferrari Land, and the Caribe water park.
PortAventura World recently announced a reduction of its Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 21.3 percent over the past year through various sustainability initiatives.
