Thorpe Park has unveiled Tenement, a fully immersive, pitch-black scare maze for Fright Nights 2026, as the Halloween event celebrates its 25th anniversary.
Set in an abandoned building where the power has failed and the tenants have vanished, guests who enter Tenement will navigate the darkness using only a shared handheld light that gradually fails.
As the light begins to fail, guests will confront their fear of the dark and navigate a maze of reflections, illusions and sensory scares while being hunted by creatures that lurk in the darkness.

Thorpe Park vice president Ruth Storey said: "We are so excited to reveal a Thorpe Park first to celebrate 25 years of Fright Nights - a fully immersive, pitch-black scare maze.
"Fright Nights is an iconic part of Halloween in the UK and we love bringing our guests’ nightmares to life through our award-winning line-up.
"This time, we’re playing on one of our most instinctive fears – the fear of the dark – and we can’t wait to challenge our guests to confront what they can’t see."
Tenement joins the Fright Nights lineup of scare mazes, scare zones, live entertainment and opportunities to experience some of Thorpe Park’s top coasters after dark.
The four existing scare mazes are returning, with DeadBeat, Stitches, Survival Games and Trailers all back for 2026.
Beyond the mazes, Purgatory Town returns as Thorpe Park’s first speak-to-scare zone, with new inhabitants sharing their stories with guests. Lucifer’s Lair will feature a show from the Lord of Darkness, while The Crows will spread their silent terror across the park.
Creature Campus: Reunion Reckoning returns with a live show, while, new for 2026, the Rebel Ball takes over The Launch Pad with music, dance and fire performances.
Fright Nights will run on selected dates from 2 October to 1 November 2026.
