Miral and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences have announced two new DC rides for Warner Bros. World on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.
The new rides are called 'Kryptonite Collider' and 'Superman Up and Away'. The former is opening on 26 July, and the latter is expected to complete construction in 2028.
"The introduction of these new DC-themed attractions marks an exciting chapter in the continued evolution of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, further enriching its world-class offerings," said Jonathan Brown, chief portfolio officer at Miral.
"It reinforces our long-standing partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, as we collectively advance our shared ambition to deliver unparalleled immersive entertainment for our guests.
Per a press release, Kryptonite Collier is an immersive, high-energy attraction that launches riders into a revolutionary centrifuge experience in Warner Bros. World’s Metropolis land.
The ride experience begins in the queue, when guests become test subjects for Lex Luthor’s Everyman Project.
New DC-themed rides
Once seated in the 32-guest centrifuge-style ride vehicle, riders are swept through a vortex of powerful motion and energy, brought to life via onboard audio and lighting effects.
Superman Up and Away will be a next-generation flying roller coaster, launching guests face-down alongside Superman on an exhilarating mission to protect Metropolis.

The new rides are part of the ongoing expansion of Warner Bros. World, which includes the development of the Middle East's first Harry Potter-themed land.
