Alterface, a leader in interactive technology, has revealed that the inaugural Action League interactive thrill ride in China is expected to open in Suzhou in May 2024.

This landmark opening illustrates the potential of the Action League Compact Edition to enable family entertainment centres (FECs) and shopping malls to provide their customers with highly interactive and competitive ride experiences.

First installation in China

This patented interactive tournament features an ultra-dynamic multi-axis rotation and is based on a completely new approach in which multiple teams compete against each other up to a final winner. The adrenaline rush of interactive shooting, competitive gaming, and the sensation of a rotating platform make this thrill ride a must-experience for guests of any age.

The attraction was honoured with the Brass Ring Award in 2021, cementing its status as a trailblazing concept. The Action League Compact Edition is notable for its ability to provide high levels of interactivity in a cost-effective, space-efficient solution. It offers a throughput of up to 288 riders per hour, with a small footprint of approximately 202 square metres. In addition, its ease of installation and operation makes it an excellent choice for FECs and shopping centres.

Alterface presents the Action League Compact Edition as a turnkey solution in collaboration with its Chinese partners, Jiangsu Boren Culture Technology. The first Chinese installation will be strategically located at Suzhou Paradise Forest World, which is scheduled to open in May 2024.

The Action League Compact Edition is further enhanced by Alterface’s popular Popcorn Revenge IP. This endearingly funny IP has already won the hearts of audiences all over the world, from Belgium to Denmark, Japan, and soon China.

The attraction features accessible yet challenging gameplay, which allows guests to begin playing immediately without needing tutorials or guidance. Candy World is a three-storey indoor family amusement complex inside the expansive Suzhou Paradise Forest World. The Action League Compact Edition will be located in the first-floor atrium and will be a key experience and a crucial point of difference for the park.

It promises an exciting interactive adventure fit for all ages, seamlessly integrating with the park’s Candy Paradise theme. Visitors are enticed by this semi-open attraction, which engages them in a fun and interactive competition. While enjoying their game, players also encourage other visitors to take part in the innovative tournament-style attraction thanks to its creative concept and open layout.

With this installation, Alterface and the Action League product line embark on an exciting new chapter, furthering its goal of bringing this unique experience into additional locations, broadening its audience and offering outstanding entertainment to smaller spaces like malls and FECs.
