KIOSK+

Embed’s key innovation this year was its new self-service system, KIOSK+. Featuring one of the largest touchscreen displays in the industry, the product is a result of two years of development.

An upgrade on Embed’s existing KIOSK console, KIOSK+ had its grand reveal at IAAPA Expo, generating a positive reception from customers for features including its sleek design and expandable modularity, leading to new conversions from customers.

Company CEO Renee Welsh, says “Embed aims to enable, empower, and ease the Business of Fun, transforming it with our technology innovation. We have a clear vision of the FEC of the future, and KIOSK+ is a product that will transform what FECs are willing to accept from their business solutions providers; no more space-consuming bulky kiosks.

“Business solutions should enable operators to optimise the consumer experience while driving greater revenue and profit per square foot, which is the design purpose of KIOSK+.

“We are excited to help operators maximise their game room floor with revenue-generating games, lower their costs, and achieve their business goals through this innovation.”

Other products

The Breakaway Game Card also premiered at this year’s IAAPA Expo. A combination of wearable media with traditional game cards, guests can snap off the removable section of the card, place it with a band and get playing. “SNAP. STRAP. PLAY!” is the tagline Embed has adopted for the new innovation.

Other products on display included Embed’s Mobile Wallet, TOOLKIT, an integrated cloud-based software solution and the smartTOUCH arcade debit game card reader. Embed’s “Bling Bar” comprised a full range of wearables and game cards, showing the tech in action.

Looking ahead

Embed reports that its booth was continually busy, catering back-to-back meetings with existing clients and prospects each day.

The technology firm celebrated two decades in the amusement industry with exclusive 20th-anniversary game cards for their team, partners, and clients. Customers visiting the booth with their cards were eligible for a giveaway featuring Apple AirPods, Bluetooth speakers, and other freebies.

New clients were onboarded onto Embed’s portfolio of products, with the “Make the Switch” promotion, which aids the transition from existing systems to Embed.

Embed is already planning ahead for next year’s trade events, meeting prospects and clients at the Amusement Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada (16 to 17 March), Deal Show in Dubai UAE (28 to 30 March), and IAAPA Expo Asia in Macau on 7 to 10 June.
