Hasbro has teamed up with Kingsmen Xperience and Bright Play to open the latest Nerf Action Xperience in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee in fall 2024.
The new 29,000-square-foot entertainment centre for families and Nerf fans will be home to blaster battle zones, sports challenges and an obstacle course, as well as a food and beverage area and a retail outlet.
“For over 50 years, Nerf has been committed to encouraging social active play, and we can’t think of a better way to bring this to life for our fans than opening this new Nerf Action Xperience location,” said Matt Proulx, vice president of location-based entertainment at Hasbro. “With this brand-new family entertainment center, we’re proud to be executing on our promise of bringing unique, innovative experiences to our Nerf players in Pigeon Forge.”
Social active play
“Having spent some time getting to know the market over the last couple of years, and as part of our strategic rollout across North America, this Pigeon Forge site will be our second location after [Westfield] Garden State Plaza in New Jersey, and our first in a thriving tourist and holiday destination that is accessible to two thirds of the US population within a day’s drive,” said Corey Redmond, senior executive vice president of Kingsmen Xperience.
Kingsmen Xperience is the location-based entertainment (LBE) subsidiary of Kingsmen Creatives in the US. Bright Play is a subsidiary of Good Vibrations, a US family-friendly attractions operator.
Nerf FEC expansion
Crayola is also joining forces with Kingsmen Xperience and Bright Play on a new family entertainment centre in Pigeon Forge. This will be the first of five new Crayola Experience locations to open in the US by 2027.
Elsewhere, Europe’s first Nerf Action Xperience has launched at Manchester’s Trafford Palazzo. More of these Nerf experiences are planned for the UK.
The first Nerf Action Xperience opened in Singapore in 2019.Â
