nWave Pictures, a multinational producer and distributor of immersive 3D/4D content, is to reveal two new teasers at IAAPA Expo 2024.
IAAPA Expo is taking place in Orlando from 18 to 22 November and is the leading event for the visitor attractions space.
The show floor is open from 19 November, and attendees can find nWave at booth #1860. The animation studio will share an exclusive IAAPA teaser of two new additions to its attractions and rides film catalogue.
Spectacular, immersive animation
nWave’s catalogue expands each year with titles that are considered a reference for immersive, jaw-dropping 3D animation. The studio continues this tradition in 2024 as it reveals two new teasers that promise to thrill audiences and build anticipation.
The studio will present:
- Drone Dash. A gripping 4D/3D ride simulation film under 5 minutes produced by nWave’s ongoing collaborators Red Star Studio. This ride follows drones as they take part in an exciting race, and showcases the spectacular visuals, immersive 3D, and thrill-filled experiences that nWave has become known for.
- A new Chickenhare CGI attraction. The sequel to nWave’s 10th animated feature film, Chickenhare and the Hamster of Darkness, will be released in theatres in 2025. The new movie will also be transformed into a 4D/3D attraction. Although its title is yet to be announced, IAAPA attendees can enjoy a short teaser that hints at its brilliant and colourful world.
Goedele Gillis, senior vice president, sales and distribution at nWave Studios, says: “It is always a pleasure to attend IAAPA’s conventions. nWave has proudly set up its booth at IAAPA events across various continents for nearly 19 years, and each edition reminds us of why we do. Being surrounded by a community fueled with the same passion for entertainment as ours is a great boost to end the year on just the right note.”
nWave recently attended the successful 2024 edition of IAAPA Expo Europe. The studio’s booth welcomed a crowd of attendees, who enjoyed a variety of 4D/3D attractions projected on a massive LED screen.
