Shuffly showroom

The shuffleboard creator will also exhibit at IAAPA Expo Europe in Amsterdam

Shuffly, a leading creator of shuffleboards for the leisure and entertainment industry, has opened a new facility in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. This new location is home to the continent’s largest shuffleboard showroom. The opening of the 825-square-metre space, which houses a 200-square-metre showroom and office and a 625-square-metre manufacturing and assembly factory, is a significant step in the company’s growth.

Played in pubs, game halls, arcades, and social gaming spaces, shuffleboard is a game similar to curling and pétanque. The main objective is sliding pucks down a long, smooth board towards the highest-scoring zone without going off the edge. Players need to knock their opponent’s pucks out of the way while protecting their own. The game’s mix of strategy, skill, and luck makes it ideal for friendly competition.

Micky Verhaeg, founder and CEO of Shuffly, expresses his excitement about their new showroom: “We are thrilled to showcase our range of shuffleboards in a space designed for customers to experience them firsthand. We have worked tirelessly with our growing team of 20 people to create a venue where quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction come together.”

Design and innovation

Shuffly is unique because of its commitment to cutting-edge design and innovation. The company combines traditional gameplay with immersive experiences and specialises in creating state-of-the-art shuffleboards with interactive technology. Focussing on electric shuffleboards and innovative technologies, Shuffly pushes the boundaries of design.

Examples include the Shuffleboard Bar, which seats up to 20 people and allows them to enjoy drinks while playing; the interactive Supercharged Shuffleboard, which was created in collaboration with Game Volt; and the Integrated LED Shuffleboard, which made Shuffly the first company in the industry to enhance the game with eye-catching LED lighting.

With more than 200 shuffleboards produced yearly, Shuffly has expanded since its founding in 2018 to become the biggest shuffleboard manufacturer in Europe. Shuffly’s Eindhoven site enables it to increase production levels while maintaining its emphasis on innovative designs, electronic game creation, and client-driven solutions.

Apart from its production activities, the showroom offers clients a distinctive chance to interact with the merchandise. Three brands are available to visitors: professional Shuffly boards, high-tech interactive Game Volt models, and Buffalo leisure shuffleboards. Prospective customers can test, play, and personalise their shuffleboards in the interactive showroom to find the ideal fit for their settings or tastes.

Shuffly has amassed a global clientele thanks to its dedication to quality and innovation. Its shuffleboards can be found in the US, the UK, Greece, Spain, and other countries. Despite its global growth, Shuffly maintains its strong Dutch roots, with 90% of its suppliers located there, guaranteeing premium Dutch-made goods.

“Our collaborations with local partners have been essential to our growth,” says Verhaeg. “These relationships allow us to maintain our focus on quality while continuing to innovate and expand into new markets.”

As the demand for shuffleboard grows in Europe, particularly within social entertainment venues, Shuffly is poised to lead the way. With shuffleboard increasingly becoming a popular feature in entertainment centers globally, the company continues to invest in new models and experiences to meet the evolving needs of the leisure industry.

Verhaeg adds: “We see shuffleboard becoming a key player in the world of social entertainment. It’s an exciting time for us as we work toward creating even more memorable experiences for our customers and contributing to the future of leisure and social gaming.”

The firm will exhibit at IAAPA Expo Europe 2024 in Amsterdam from 24 to 26 September. At booth #8922, attendees can discover the latest innovations in shuffleboard and social gaming.

“IAAPA Expo is the perfect platform to connect with industry leaders and share our vision for the future of competitive socializing,” says Verhaeg. “We’re eager to meet new partners and highlight the latest developments in shuffleboard.”
