Soft Play, a global leader in innovative and safe children’s playground equipment, is preparing to meet attendees at a leading leisure trade event this month.
Amongst the firm’s clients include Disney, Merlin Entertainments, SeaWorld, Six Flags and Ripley’s Entertainment. Other major customers include Audi, Fisher-Price, Gold’s Gym, IKEA and McDonald’s.
Creating fun in Korea
One of the company’s latest projects can be found at the recently opened Lotte World Adventure Busan Theme Park in South Korea, having opened in March this year.
Soft Play installed a unique 270 square metre play area environment with a Jack and the Beanstalk theme, which includes a two-story climbing castle from which Lotte World mascots Lotty and Lorry both make an appearance.
Soft Play has used a proprietary sculpted foam material during the manufacture of the play area, designed to be soft to the touch and naturally anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.
“Our play elements are extremely easy to clean and maintain while having proven to be extremely durable in high traffic areas,” says a company representative.
The latest project marks Soft Play’s third major collaboration with the team at Lotte World, with the Kidstoria play area at Lotte World’s original location in Seoul, continuing to be a popular attraction more than a decade since its public opening in December 2010.
