Triotech heads to IAAPA Expo Asia 2023 in Singapore

News
Triotech Walkthrough PUBG Lotte World XD Dark Ride

Attendees can find out more about firm’s recent projects and products at trade show

Triotech, an award-winning creator of media-based attractions, will be exhibiting at IAAPA Expo Asia 2023, which takes place this week at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. During the trade show, from 14 – 16 June, the team will be showcasing the firm’s latest attractions and unique projects at booth #L1134.

It has been a busy month for Triotech, with the opening of two new attractions. Firstly, a new walkthrough attraction, PUBG: Battlegrounds, opened at Lotte World in Seoul, South Korea. This uses interactivity, immersion, media, motion, and projection mapping to create a thrilling guest journey. Visitors set out on a shared adventure as they pass through many zones, each of which presents a unique challenge.

This was followed by the opening of Champi’Folies at Le Pal in France. This attraction is the Smash & Reload design’s first deployment. It is a small-footprint interactive dark ride that is affordable for regional parks without sacrificing the quality of the visitor experience.

Discover wide range of products

Attendees at IAAPA Expo Asia can learn about these new projects, as well as the firm’s wide range of products, such as its Walkthrough, Hyper Ride interactive dark ride, Dome Theater, and more. The team will present these at the booth using miniature models.

In addition, for FECs, Triotech will showcase QUBE: a new premium interactive multiplayer coin-op game. This attendant-free media-based four-seat simulator has a small footprint, offers great immersion, and gives guests a true premium experience while producing a high return on investment for operators. The QUBE offers broad demographic appeal and a large library of material. Group play, combined with the individual scoring system, creates friendly competition between the four players, therefore driving repeat rides.

The STORM coin-op simulator will also be on show. Two competing players are seated side by side on motion seats for this one-of-a-kind VR interactive experience. Players control the game by moving their arms and hands. Triotech created exclusive content for The Storm, and a new interactive film is slated for release in 2023, following the fourth instalment, Creepy Castle, in 2022.

Last month, Triotech announced that it has been chosen by Saudi Entertainment Ventures (SEVEN), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), to develop a number of Transformers-themed attractions for its new entertainment destinations, including the flagship venue in the Al Hamra district of Riyadh city.
