Robobike is a UK-based creator of immersive motorbike racing simulators for entertainment and leisure venues. Designed, engineered and manufactured in the UK, it combines physical movement, racing simulation and connected competition to create an attraction that sits somewhere between a simulator, an arcade experience and competitive social entertainment.
Rather than relying on visuals alone, Robobike uses a multi-axis motion platform to recreate the physical sensations of riding. The system responds to acceleration, braking, cornering and changes in the track, while haptic feedback recreates engine vibration and road texture. Wind simulation increases with speed, and synchronised visual and audio elements help create a more convincing racing environment.
Competition is central to the Robobike concept. Individual sessions can feed into a connected leaderboard system, allowing riders to compare lap times at their own venue as well as against players at other locations.
Operators can use the platform for local rankings, venue-versus-venue competition, seasonal events and other challenges. Robobike also plans quarterly content updates introducing new tracks, competitions and championships, giving venues a way to refresh the experience and encourage repeat participation. The fastest riders can also progress towards wider championship competitions through the global leaderboard.
For operators, installations can scale from a single simulator to configurations of up to six bikes. Robobike is targeting venues including family entertainment centres, arcades, activity bars, multi-activity destinations, cruise ships, leisure complexes, holiday parks, motorsport attractions and simulation zones.
Robobike is developing several versions of its platform for different audiences. The GPS is its GP-style superbike simulator, offering full motion, throttle, braking and gear controls alongside haptic and wind effects for a higher-intensity racing experience.
The MXL and MXS models take inspiration from motocross and are intended for younger riders, using adapted controls and motion responses to make the experience more approachable for family audiences.
Accessibility is incorporated through the AXS simulator. This version uses accessible seating, adaptive controls and stabilised motion behaviour while retaining the multi-sensory and competitive elements of the wider RoboBike experience. The approach allows different types of riders to participate within the same connected racing environment.
